Mertonia

Geography

Mertonia is a district in the province of Lower Mastoria.
A district bordered in the West by the Rogy Funga mountain range, and in the East by the River Ojo. The district is predominantly made up of dense forestry.
The district is home to two major settlements. The Lost City of Fungasuf lies in the Rogy Funga, a Dwarven city-state that was buried in a devastating earthquake, and Arkeluw. 
The city of Arkeluw is a city on the western bank of the River Ojo, it lies on the path between the Mastoracza Pass and the Amberic Sea and is thus a vital stop along multiple trade routes desiring access to the Mastorian Empire.

Climate

Mertonia has a temperate environment and is prone to regular bouts of rain.

Fauna & Flora

Bauk: Subterranean humanoids with long spindly limbs who emerge from beneath the ground to hunt it's prey in the darkness of the night.
Dwarves: Previously denizens of Fungasuf, a huge population of Dwarves migrated as refugees to the city of Arkeluw.
Elves: A group of Elven refugees have formed camps around the city of Arkeluw.
Humans: The most dominant population of Mertonia.
