In the aftermath of Deathbringer's perceived failure, Abraxas exiled the once-loyal necromancer to the desolate island of Litchmeuse, a realm tainted by arcane echoes and animosity from its native inhabitants, the Ousan. Facing relentless hostility and unexpected encounters, Deathbringer found himself in a clash with his former rival, Aragus, who sought to settle past scores. Surprisingly, Deathbringer triumphed over Aragus, revealing his strength and newfound independence. Embracing this liberty, Deathbringer established the nation of Reaver on Litchmeuse, intending to build a realm free from Abraxas' influence. The founding of Blightrein as its capital marked a turning point in "The Black Knight," as Deathbringer, once a mere pawn, now emerged as a pivotal player in the complex narrative of the Dark War, poised to carve his destiny in the ever-evolving tapestry of conflict.

In the tumultuous aftermath of Deathbringer's perceived failure in guarding Lioloth's prison, the wrath of Abraxas descended upon him like a shadow. The once-loyal necromancer, now deemed expendable, faced the grim consequence of exile. Cast away from the mainland, Deathbringer found himself on the desolate island of Litchmeuse, a place tainted by the echoes of the arcane and the disdain of its native inhabitants.   As Deathbringer and his remaining undead forces navigated the unfamiliar terrain, hostility met them at every turn. The Ousan natives, harboring a deep-seated aversion to the undead, engaged in relentless skirmishes against the unwanted intruders. In this hostile land, Deathbringer unexpectedly encountered a familiar face — his former rival, Aragus.   Aragus, seizing the opportunity presented by Deathbringer's exile, sought to settle old scores. Claiming to be present of his own volition rather than by Abraxas' command, Aragus initiated a fierce clash with his exiled adversary. The battleground crackled with necromantic energies as Deathbringer and Aragus unleashed their formidable powers upon each other.   Yet, Aragus, perhaps blinded by overconfidence, underestimated the strength that Deathbringer had amassed over the years. In a shocking turn of events, Deathbringer landed a devastating blow, forcing Aragus to retreat and leaving Deathbringer to confront the realization that he was no longer a cog in the dark machinery of Nentryl.   Embracing this newfound freedom, Deathbringer, with the remnants of his undead forces, established a new nation on the island of Litchmeuse — Reaver. The capital, Blightrein, served as the nucleus of this burgeoning nation, where Deathbringer envisioned a realm free from the dictates of Abraxas and the shadows that loomed over the Crean Isles. The formation of Reaver marked a pivotal moment in the unfolding narrative of "The Black Knight," as Deathbringer, once a pawn in a larger game, now stood poised to carve his path in the turbulent tapestry of the Dark War.
