Lord Rylitus Antonio Martins, Agent of Wrath
Rylitus Antonio Martins is a devil, and one of the Seven Sins. His sin is Wrath.
All seven sins carry with them a weapon of some kind, bearing their symbol. The Symbol of Wrath is an outstretched fist, crushing a bone. The weapons of Wrath are two giant hammers with retractable spikes on either end.
Rylitus's ultimate goal is to destroy Heaven and the angels. Additionally, he helps maintain order in Hell whenever he feels like it.
Physical Description
Rylitus is a mesomorph. He is physically fit and agile, more so than almost all other devils as a result of constant training.
Rylitus's tail is jet black, and ends in an arrow-like protrusion, which rapidly tapers into a razor-sharp point. He rarely, if ever, conceals his demon features.
Rylitus's horns are large, and jut straight out of the sides of his head, before circling back in around his forehead, akin to a disconnected halo.
Rylitus's dominant hand is his left.
- Supernatural Condition: As a devil, Rylitus possesses several natural boosts:
- Supernatural Strength, Type III: Rylitus has godlike strength, able to lift whole skyscrapers and destroy mountains.
- Supernatural Speed, Type II: Rylitus is able to move incredibly fast, becoming invisible to the naked eye. He can outpace any form of transportation that currently exists.
- Supernatural Reflexes: Rylitus can react to an attack or movement many times faster than even an elf.
- Supernatural Perception/Detection: Rylitus is able to sense life force, magical signatures and heat signatures, allowing nothing to evade his notice.
- Supernatural Senses: Rylitus's sense of hearing, smell, sight, and touch are greatly heightened compared to all other races.
- Transcendent Umbramancy: Rylitus's magical abilities and power are on the level of a minor god.
- Wrath Embodiment: As the Sin of Wrath, Rylitus possesses the following abilities:
- Adrenal Activation: Rylitus can turn on and off his adrenal glands at will, allowing adrenaline to further enhance his pain tolerance, strength, focus, and reflexes.
- Anger Absorption: Rylitus can take the anger of others directed at him and use it to amplify his own.
- Anger Augmentation/Inducement: Rylitus can induce anger in others, or intensify anger that is already present.
- Control Immunity: Rylitus's indomitable anger makes him unable to be subjugated or brought under someone else's control by any means.
- Killing Instinct: Rylitus inherently "feels" the best and most efficient way to kill an opponent.
- Killing Intent: Rylitus can project his bloodlust and malice outward, inducing fear and the urge to flee in anyone nearby.
- Tranquil Fury: Before being killed by Serro, Rylitus's anger was unfocused and unrefined. In the present, Rylitus's outward anger is only presented as mild disgust, but the fury within still burns brighter than ever. Having tempered his anger with logic and strategy, Rylitus now fights with both anger and precision.
- Wrath Empowerment - Rylitus's primary food source is other people's anger, and when he feeds, he gains a temporary boost in power. Additionally, the angrier Rylitus gets, the stronger he becomes. There appears to be no upper limit to this ability.
Mental characteristics
Rylitus was born long, long after the death of the original Wrath, and is the last of the Seven Sins to be chosen. Rylitus was not always filled with hatred for Heaven. When he was young, he spent most of his time like any other devil, doing as he pleased in Hell and sometimes tagging along on outings with older devils. For a while, he was happy just doing these things, but as time wore on and he got older, he started getting bored. His boredom grew more and more over time. He was about to come up with a plan to make his life more exciting one day, but before he could, another devil gave him a suggestion. The devil suggested that Rylitus pursue an education and think about getting a job, as a change of pace. Rylitus took the suggestion into consideration, and after a while, he agreed.
Rylitus found school rather easy, and got all his assignments done on time, usually with good scores. He enjoyed himself from day to day, interacting with other devils and learning as much as he could about the world, Hell, their histories, and other subjects. One day, though, in his history class, his teacher assigned them the task of researching the ongoing war between angels and devils. As always, Rylitus studied as much as he could and began writing his paper. However, as he came closer and closer to completing it, Rylitus learned more and more about the war, and learned that devils had been forced into Hell by angels, as they had lost time and again.
At first, Rylitus shrugged it off and continued writing his paper. But as he thought about it more and more, it began keeping him up at night. Why were devils forced to live in Hell? How is it fair that angels are the ones who judge people? Why don't angels accept devils as ordinary people? As these questions arose, Rylitus grew irritated, and then he grew angry. He decided it wasn't fair. It wasn't far how devils had to live away from the rest of society, how they were shunned and treated with disrespect. His anger turned into rage, and his rage into hatred. He hated the angels. He hated them for all they had done against devils. He hated Heaven.
He turned in his paper a couple days later, and as usual, received an excellent score. School, however, was now merely a means to an end. By the time he was in high school, he had already decided on what his career path would be. To take revenge on the angels, he was going to become a soldier, and take out as many angels as he possibly could. He graduated high school with several honors, and not even a week later, he had been recruited by the military. In his training, he showed a natural talent for weapons of all kinds, but favored the ones that could cause the most destruction, like hammers and grenades. Through dedication and many nights training by himself in the dark, he soon surpassed every other devil that was in his recruitment batch. His instructor was impressed, and often used Rylitus as an example to the other recruits. Rylitus had proved himself, so he was sent on his first mission early. His mission was to find and kill an angel. Rylitus was instructed to show no mercy, and to make sure the angel was dead before he returned.
It didn't take long for him to find an angel, based the list his instructor had given him, of most likely places an angel would be. Several other devils went with him to watch and make sure he did it right. At last, Rylitus had finally seen what kind of creature had sent his race into Hell, and he grew even angrier upon seeing them. Rylitus' onslaught was furious, and although the angel tried their best to defend against it, in the end, Rylitus burst through. Without any hesitation, he began pummeling the angel into the pavement. All of his rage and hatred, he took out on the angel before him. He kept going, and going, until the angel's body was nothing more than a sorry mess. The other devils with Rylitus were surprised at his brutality at first, but were soon inspired, cheering for him. Breathing heavily, Rylitus finally backed off. He returned to Hell with the other devils, who raved to Rylitus's instructor about how he had performed. Rylitus was immediately given full soldier status, and assigned to a platoon of six other devils.
Even after he had finished his recruit training, he didn't stop. He trained by himself, to become as strong as possible, staying up nights and working out. In battle, it showed, as Rylitus started destroying angels left and right, sometimes singlehandedly. The other devils in his platoon were just as impressed by his fighting spirit as the others, and helped him in any way they could, trying to become as strong as Rylitus. But they never could.
Months and years passed, and Rylitus burst through rank after rank, becoming more and more powerful with each passing day. Finally, he was given the highest rank Hell could give him: Prime Overlord of Hell. Devils all across Hell began hearing about his exploits, and how he was supposedly Hell's salvation, to finally take back the surface world and Heaven from the angels. Every devil looked up to him as an unshakable pillar of strength. Rylitus's platoon's power and coordination was absolute, and they served a shining example of what a devil should be.
Finally, Rylitus forged a plan to gain the attention of Heaven, and wipe out angels in the hundreds. They were to go into the surface world, and destroy everything in sight, leaving no survivors. Sure enough, after enough destruction had been caused, angels descended. To Rylitus's dismay and anger though, only a single platoon of angels had descended: the platoon of Serro, the angel of Patience. Rylitus was beside himself. All this destruction and Heaven only cared enough to send six angels? Immediately, he leapt at Serro, his attacks as furious and intense as ever. Serro was unfazed, and in the midst of Rylitus's assault, he struck a single blow through the devil's heart.
The other angels in Rylitus's platoon dropped their weapons and fled, not wanting to tangle with the angels. Serro pulled Rylitus's body close, and asked why he was so angry. Rylitus introduced himself, and said the reason for his rage was simple. He wanted nothing more than to see every angel die at his feet, and for Heaven to meet its end. He made a promise to Serro that he would not stop until he reached his goal. With that, Rylitus burst into smoke and was whisked away to a regeneration chamber in Hell.
It took three weeks for Rylitus to regenerate, but when he finally exited the chamber, his rage morphed into something else, thanks to Serro - a freezing cold, tranquil fury. He took some time away from battle, and learned how to control his anger and focus it into a weapon. He now had a different approach to battle: he became a master tactician, studying previous battles and failures of Hell, and how to avoid them. He now had strategy instead of raw anger, and became more deadly than he had ever been. He wasted no time planning his next assault, and made his secondary goal to kill Serro at all costs. And in his cold fury, a symbol appeared above his head. An outstretched fist, crushing a bone: the symbol of Wrath. He was now one of the Seven Sins.
Not too long afterwards, the he met the other Seven Sins. Neikona, the sin of Lust. Lunette, the sin of Sloth. Selena, the sin of Envy. Vazios, the sin of Pride. Deremos, the sin of Greed. And Aelera, the sin of Gluttony. Now, they had a new mission: to work together, and crush the Seven Virtues, once and for all.
Rylitus has graduated from high school and is trained in weapons and hand to hand combat.
Rylitus is currently employed as the Sin of Wrath, and as Prime Overlord of Hell. This means that if the situation warranted it, he would have command of every able-bodied soldier in Hell.
Rylitus's major accomplishments are becoming one of the Seven Sins, and becoming an Overlord in Hell's army.
Rylitus's largest embarrassment is being publicly impaled by, and losing to, Serro Alexander Gidelde.
Bodily-kinesthetic, intrapersonal
Rylitus has only one goal: to bring about the end of Heaven and kill every last angel. He has little regard for other people, (save his fellow devils) and killing comes naturally to him. He will not tolerate anyone who stands in his way, eliminating them as if swatting a fly, and moving on.
Personality Characteristics
Rylitus puts forth consistent effort to be as strong as he can and battle ready at all times. His desire is the total annihilation of Heaven and all its angels.
Extremely skilled with the Weapons of Wrath. Inept at magic.
Likes: Destruction, killing, training, winning
Dislikes: Losing, weaklings, angels, Heaven
Determined, never gives up even in the face of total defeat.
Easily angered and offended, destructive when angry. Has little regard for teamwork of any kind.
Rylitus usually showers after intense battles, but beyond that, his other hygiene is poor.
Social
Rylitus, being one of the Seven Sins, is comrades with Lunette, Aelera, Vazios, Deremos, Selena, and Neikona. He is the foil of Serro, the Virtue of Patience, and an enemy to the other Seven Virtues. Erebos, the God of Darkness, is his biological father, but they are estranged from each other.
Rylitus does not frequently contact his parents or other family members. Erebos is his true father, but they are estranged.
Like all devils, Rylitus believes in the God of Darkness. However, he does not actively worship the god.
Rylitus will not talk to or even acknowledge people he deems are weak or inferior. Even with people he does acknowledge, he acts condescendingly and speaks tersely. He has no interest in maintaining social relationships of any kind or participating in social activities.
Rylitus works out and trains consistently, to maintain and improve his strength as much as he can, as well as improving his combat ability.
Rylitus's voice is deep and cold, and he does not like to talk excessively, keeping his statements short and to the point.

History
Vazios and Rylitus became "allies" when Vazios joined the Seven Sins. Rylitus is probably the Sin that hates Vazios the most, and has killed him on several occasions, sometimes inside of Hell, which could potentially have ended in Vazios's true death. However, each time, Vazios survived, much to Rylitus's chagrin. Vazios has a market distaste for Rylitus, and sees him as ugly and ungraceful, as well as a brute.

History
Selena and Rylitus became "allies" when Selena joined the Seven Sins. Ironically, there is nothing Selena envies about Rylitus, but she still hates him for the way he treats her. Rylitus despises Selena, seeing her as simple, pathetic and lonely, and often will go on long tirades about how worthless she is. Neikona usually has to step in and threaten Rylitus for this.
