Chief Mercy

Chief Mercy is a senior rank within the Itoqir, and in some ways can be considered one of the non-combatant equivalents to a Tothjal along with Chief Warmaster. They are usually Clerics in their own right. They are responsible for advising the Tothjal and Jals of the general health of its forces and related concerns, such as sanitation or widespread illness, and provide casualty/injury counts when required. They may have an Assistant-Mercy or two and oversee Shepherds of Leaving and Physicias/Clerics.
