The Town Square – Temple Ruins

Work by the The Academic Center has uncovered a set of old ruins in the center of Legacy. Rather than stone, the ruins are carved and shaped from hardened coral. The foundation of the structure remains alongside a few pillars – some collapsed. Portions of the pillars have retained etched patterns of carved, overlapping and interlocking lines that weave a complex "net-like" pattern. The main floor – believed to be from the center hall of what is assumed to be a Temple – is still intact, almost oddly so. The centerpiece features multiple carved rings with an ouroboros at the center. A series of simply carved humanoid figures are arranged around the ouroboros projecting outward. Surprisingly, no one has pried the gemstones out... though not without lack of trying.
