Choose A Race
Since this is my world, the race descriptions are going to be a bit different than what they talk about on D&D Beyond, however stats and features remain mostly the same. You can choose any race from the table below for this campaign.
*Difficulty is based on how the race is treated by the majority of the population living on the Maelstrom Isles (Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Halflings) as well as other possible role-playing requirements detailed more on that race’s page.

Gnome | Small and lively humanoids with a culture focused on knowledge and growth | easy/medium |
Half-Elf | Humanoids with the traits of their elven side and, most often, the culture of their other side | easy/medium |
Halfling | Small, quiet, and simple humanoids with a culture centered around farming and gardening | easy |
Half-Orc | Large and hardy with a savagery from their Orcish side they have created a culture on improvement | medium |
Human | Adaptable, driven, and diverse humanoids in culture and race | easy |
Tiefling | Humanoids with fiendish features who are finding their place in the world | medium/hard |
Genasi | Humanoids touched with power from the elemental planes of fire, earth, air, or water | easy |
Goliath | Hulking giants among the other peoples Goliaths are tribal humanoids who worship their ancestors | easy/medium |
