Huw was a knight of Salisbury and served on the privy council of Countess Ellen. He has shown himself to be a rival of Sir Bradwen and Dame Maylene.
While delirious from injuries and a guest of Sir Felix, he accidentally revealed that he had helped the Saxon Saexwulf despoil Newton Manor and Shrewton Manor and kidnap Lady Arwen. In retalation for this, Sir Felix arranged for his secret to be revealed and Huw was stripped of his rank and titles and his lands gifted to Sir Felix.
