General Summary

We set out to the direct north. We were not traveling long when Ma'ago heard screams. I only heard winds howling, but Ma'ago led us in the direction of the screams. I went ahead to scout and saw a Human woman... an actual human woman native to This Place, as I did not recognize her. She was bound and carried by two Bloodlicks into a cave. I went back to the others and told them what I saw. I went ahead with Eagrym and Petra. I was invisible while the others were charging ahead. We went into the cave, me sneaking. I moved in first and saw a green bloodlick (Greenlick? Yes, Greenlick). It looked to be a magic user and was conducting a ritual with the woman, who was bound in a pile of bones. I shot the greenlick from invisibility. It and one of its red bodyguards nearly killed me in one fell swoop, but Petra saved my life. I woke up to find chaos. I provided covering fire and escaped the cave. Eagrym and the woman, who were invisible, came running out of the cave. I cut her bonds and we kept fleeing. One of the bloodlicks caught up to me and nearly took my head off if it were not for Bubba, brave Petra's dog. I managed to get away from the bloodlick and we all fled. This cave is fucked why were we there? It will take nothing short of a full military effort to dislodge the greenlicks and bloodlicks.
We fled and caught our breaths with the woman. Ivellios cast comprehend languages and she said her name was Marcella. She claimed her farm or town were attacked by the bloodlicks. She said her family could still be out there and wanted to go look for them. Shit. We agreed and rested before traveling further north into bloodlick territory. Before we could get very far, the bloodlicks we saved Marcella from ambushed us. I was grievously wounded but we killed them. Possibly whatever the bloodlicks put in people is inside me. We returned to Gatefall for healing.
