Aurochs

Aurochs are a species of Monster found in The New World. They previously existed in The Old World as well, but are no longer extant there. They are large bovine creatures with thick pelts which reside in mountainous areas. Male Aurochs are much larger than females and will challenge any creature that approaches their herd, although they generally back down if the target of their ire does not run or continue to advance.

Their presence in the New World was confirmed on 8/30/213 by Djinn, Günther, Helena, Myth, Petra and Ranaghar. Aurochs hides are useful Resources for Crafting.
