Iron

Iron is a type of Mineral found in both The Old World and The New World. In its unblemished form, it is a lustrous silvery-grey metal, but it occurs much more commonly as a glossy black ore known as "Hematite." Iron is used to produce a wide range of products, including weapons, tools, paint, and ink, but is most commonly refined into Steel.

Its presence in the New World was confirmed on 11/28/213 by Gamgam, Homash, Lyudmila, Ranaghar, Stigr, and Walter. It is a useful Resource for Crafting.
