Cornelius van der Hulst
Cornelius van der Hulst is an NPC who serves as the current @legioBurgomeister of Gatefall. He was appointed to this position by the Gatefall Company's board of directors and, thus, is the Company's highest ranking representative in The New World. He is a Human merchant and bureaucrat from the Free City of Karstadt who previously oversaw the expedition which discovered the World Gate. He has final authority on most political and administrative matters in Gatefall, but may be overruled by the Militia Commander in times of military crisis.
