Rock Gnome
Rock Gnomes are a Sub-Race of Gnome native to The Old World. They are the most common type of Gnome, though they are rarely seen outside their ancestral homelands on the continent of Thule. They are a playable Sub-Race best-suited to Classes which take advantage of their mental discipline, technological prowess, and hunger for knowledge, such as Artificer and Wizard (see http://dnd5e.wikidot.com/gnome).

Additional Information
Social Structure
Rock gnomes are much more sociable than their Forest Gnome brethren, but still value their privacy and are distrustful of strangers. Most live underground, carving elaborate warrens into cliff faces and mountainsides. Unlike the famed subterranean cities of the Mountain Dwarves and Duergar, however, these settlements rarely house more than a few hundred. Rock Gnomes place great value on scholarship and those who discover new scientific or magical secrets are often the most respected figures in their society.
Facial characteristics
Rock Gnomes are distinguished by their harsh facial features, possessing prominent brow ridges, gaunt cheeks and beak-like noses. Most have blue or black eyes and light blonde, grey, or black hair.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Rock Gnomes form a majority of the population in Endelheim and have a notable presence in Mennavjar and Vestenjar as well.
Average Intelligence
Rock Gnomes are highly intelligent, possessing a keen aptitude for logical reasoning and a near-eidetic memory. Intellectual pursuits are of great importance in their society, though they tend to neglect fields of study which lack immediate practical applications.
