Youk reigns as King of Youk Kingdom, which included the lands now controlled by Youk Kingdom, the Princeship of Lamlou, and Prost. He ruled until his death at the age of sixty in 2773.
Youk, sometimes called Youk the Conqueror or Youk the Unitor was a minor king of the early Westrin people. His kingdom was located in the far east of Prost Forest, a region that would eventually become part of the Jakarak Empire. Early in his reign, he expanded his influence westward, gaining new territories, allies, and enemies. It is evident that Youk was a devout Trinitarian which served him well, especially after he was crowned High King of Prost Forest by the council of high priests in 2746, making resistance against his rule akin to resistance against the Church of the Trinity, whose healers and miracle workers were well loved by the people of the time. Over the course of fourteen years, Youk gained access to vast territory, incorporated his allies as vassals, and defeated his enemies with a mix of tactical skill, numerical advantage, and help from the Church. With the entirety of Prost Forest under his control in 2757, Youk spent the next 8 years of his reign travelling throughout his vast new kingdom sorting grievances, supressing rebellions, and consolidating his power. In 2765 Youk and his court settled in what became the city of Youk where he continued his reign until his death. The last 7 years of his rule were quite peaceful, with only a single rebellion in the northeast in 2770. Youk passed peacefully in his sleep in 2773 a mere four days after declaring his son as his successor.
