Youk
Demographics
The majority of Youk's population are Westrin humans, with a few communities of Jarsokkans and Forest Haflings mixed in. There is even a small district in the dock ward that is reserved for Sea Gnome residences, although few stay there long term.
Government
The City of Youk is overseen by a council of the three most prominent Counts and Countesses of the Royal Duchy. These three are determined every three years by whoever makes the most sizable donation to the throne. These donations are made in secret and are then revealed at the end of the three year period.
This council can pass laws that take effect everywhere in the city with the exception of the Throne Ward, where most of the Nobles live and where the Palace rests.
Defences
The City has two ringwalls. One circles the entirety of the city, with the exception of a few slum-like communities that rest outside of the 3 gates. The second wall encompasses only the highward.
Infrastructure
The City has two main sewer networks. One encompasses the highward of the City and empties on the far ends of the ward. The
