The existence of Humans is relatively new to The Tempest Realm. First records of Humans date back to the end of the Dawn Times and it is not known if they interacted with the last of the ancient Elf and Dwarven populations.
The Pyreburner took a special interest in the humans, giving them the "Gift of Fire" - knowledge of technology and magic far beyond what they could have discovered themselves at that point in time. But this interest changed during The Scouring which resulted in the Humans slaying the Pyreburner in Amberlight.
The Scouring decimated the human population, especially those in Oriana, but they have quickly risen to their modern standings.

Humans reach adulthood in their late teens and considered an adult at 18 or 21 depending on the local culture. Humans barely make it to 100 years.

While not the most durable of races, Humans can still be found anywhere where other races can be found. Humans tend to group together to form large towns and cities.

Humans eat a wide variety of foods and likes to try new things.
