The Second Oriana Imperium
The Second Oriana Imperium (or Oriana) is a human empire built on the ruins of The Oriana Imperium with the Oriana family ruling the lands for over 500 years.
The humans in these lands were favoured by the fallen god known as the Pyreburner. He taught the primitive humans knowledge of technology and magic, often described as 'The Gift of Fire'. Over 300 years ago a brutal war erupted between the humans and the Pyreburner, the Pyreburner unleashing hoards of devils, demons, and elementals on the human towns across the continent of Oros. It looked as if the Pyreburner would wipe out the humans completely if it were not for interference from the the gods: The Divine Watcher, The Storm Master, and The Dawnhammer. They sent their avatars to kill the Pyreburner in Amberlight, and were successful, but in his final breath the Pyreburner destroyed the city and all within.
The lands have since rebuilt into The Second Oriana Imperium. With help from dwarves from the east the cities and towns were quickly repaired. With assistance from the nation of Insomnia, the people of Oriana quickly rediscovered technology.
Oriana is ruled by the Oriana family, with the current Emperor being unknown. However, in reality the lands and ruled by a council that have been appointed by the Oriana family and nominated from the various cities and towns in the country.

The people of Oriana are a hardy bunch. After The Scouring the people of Oriana grouped together to rebuild and regrow the cites and towns.
