Doctor Druid

Dr Anthony Driud

Anthony Druid (born Anthony Ludgate) was a sorceror, member of the Masters of the Mystic Arts, and the Heir of Merlin.

Following the death of Sol Rama at the hands of the Zealots, he was made the Master of the London Sactum.

During the Empirikul Invasion, he was defeated and captured by Karl Mordo, who tried to force him to open a gateway to the Nexus of All Realities. When Druid refused to comply, Mordo murdered him, using his blood to open the Stonehenge door.

He was extremely eccentric, but a highly accomplished sorceror. He had a reputation for knowing everyone who was anyone in British magical circles, and had worked with MI13 on several occaisions.

Despite his name, he was not a member of any clan of Druids, and most Druids found the name offensive.

He was succeeded as the Heir of Merlin and Master of the London Sactum by his former student, Jillian Woods. He is survived by one son, Sebastian Druid.
