Sanctum Master

A senior member of the Masters of the Mystic Arts appointed to guard of of the Sanctum Sanctorums.

There are three, one for each of the Sanctums.

Appointment

Selected by the Sorceror Supreme.

Duties

To guard their Sanctum and the artifacts contained within.

As senior members of the Masters of the Mystic Arts, they are also expected to work to defend Terra and maintain the magical order. Generally Sanctum Masters are considered the 'local expert' for the region in which their Sanctum is located, and are expect to be the first to respond to emergencies in the region, and are usually given authority over whether the Masters should intervene.
