Kree City
The Kree City is an ancient instillation built approximately 5,000 years ago by the Kree Empire beneath what is now Puerto Rico.
It was used for Super-Soldier experiments on humans, which eventually lead to the creation of the Inhumans. Eventually the Inhumans rose up, lead by Hive and drove out the Kree.
Those Inhumans who remained on Earth following the exodus to Attilan came to develope a mythology around the lost city, describing it as a place where the "blue angels" intended the "worthy to inherit the Earth".
The location of the city became lost to time, with the only key being in a series of Kree artifacts known as Diviners which, at the touch of Inhumans, would display a series of symbols with the city at its center. Phil Coulson, who had been ressurected using Kree DNA, found the Words of Creation implanted in his mind. He was able to detirmined that these were actually the blueprints of a city. To locate it, he hacked a satellite network, through which he was able to locate an ancient rock formation that matched the city underneath the Castillo San Cristóbal, close to San Juan.
S.H.I.E.L.D infiltrated the city, discovering that all modern electronic devises ceased working upon entering the city. After a Kree Obelisk at the centre of the city activated, triggering Terrigenesis in Skye and Raina, Jemma Simmons blew one of the vertical shafts connecting the city to the surface, flooding the city.
The city was also the resting place of the Inhuman Codex. In 2017, Prince Maximus forced a number of locals into the city to search for the Codex, eventually succeeding in retrieving it at the expense of the lives of his victims.
