Task
Task is the dragon god of greed and selfishness.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
Worshipper Relations
Task is revered primarily by evil dragons, especially reds, although he counts a few brass dragons among his faithful. Many Arasilisch who have a lust for greed and hoard, find comfort in Task's belief.Tenets of Faith
While Astilabor is the deity of acquisition with no stigma of greed attached, Task is greed personified. He wants it all, and it mattered not to him what he has to do or what it cost to others to obtain what he wants. His worshipers share the same attitude.
Task reveres greed and selfishness, and sometimes rewarded followers who show these traits in excess. One such gift he grants to his followers is to turn them into hoarder dragons on death so they can guard their treasure from opportunistic looters. While it is thought that his rewards are never material, since Task is believed to be unable to give up anything he owns, truly faithful, meaning greedy, dragons are rewarded with material goods created by Task himself, such as the case of the blue dragon Amilektrevitrioelis who is granted the Shackles of Amilek. The same item is believed to have been granted to at least two other exceedingly greedy dragons.
