Gralnag Habitation Station
Large station designed to support a large gagarag population in space, built by the Karnol Caretakers. Located in the Lambda Jaranais System.
The Gralnag station is one of the largest stations in the system, and the largest habitation station. The Caretakers obviously constructed this to help them house millions of Gagarags. It holds them on the inside of a very large rotating cylinder which creates gravity by spinning, or spin gravity. This can induce nausea, but the caretakers have become extremely good at curing this to the point where they can almost entirely prevent it.
It is powered by a large fusion reactor located close to the spinning habitation module. This supplies power to a huge motor that spins the entire habitation module. Fusion is obtained from a large fuel tank located near the reactor which itself gets fuel from various hydrogen tanker deliveries. The station lies in orbit of a langrange point between Lambda Jaranais V and the parent star, specifically the L3 point.
It is defended by several weapon turrets located in multiple positions on the exterior of the station. These are mostly cannons and plasma cannons, and will target any enemy up to about 10 Mm away. The station also has several military docks for caretakers to launch defending ships as needed or for tours with gagarags. It is fitted mostly with dockyards for smaller ships, but can launch at least one of each larger ship (partially for tours). It is also armed with lasers to destroy enemy drones and missiles that threaten the station, but it also has a shield. It is too small to have its own defense platforms orbit it.
