Kevra IV

Planet located in the Kevra System, the home system of the Alti Dominion.
Kevra IV is a relatively cold rock planet. It is decently rich in metal ore, but it might serve as a candidate for terraforming at some point in the future. Kevra IV has the required strong magnetosphere and large surface area, it is just missing the higher temperature required for life.For now, though, the Alti use it primarily as a factory world. A large portion of the surface is covered in industry (Replicators have not been invented yet) and the population housed in dedicated habitats with little scenery to view.
This has led to poor morale on the planet, but any rebellions are ruthlessly squashed with military force. These wars have resulted in many buildings being destroyed (the cold is kept out with blast door corridors) and billions of deaths during the planets history. Rebellions do have an advantage in the habitats though: they understand the corridor layout very well and positions of any points of interest but Alti commanders often do not because they might not live in the same sector.. or even the same planet.
The planet also has a space elevator. Rebels have managed to cut the cable once, causing the entire megastructure to fly upwards and away from the planet. The Alti managed to recover it though and reattach the elevator to the planet.
