Pajaras III
Pajaras III is a planet in the Pajaras Systen, which is owned by the Unified Arkan Council UAC.
Pajaras III was originally a cold, but habitable, planet where much of the poles are taken up by large ice caps. There was a lot of life on the planet, with the Harkas eventually settling on the planet itself. However, everything changed when this system had an Amoeba Sphere seeded. It grew to its full size, slowly absorbing all the sunlight from the star and causing all the planets in the system to freeze rapidly. There is still life on Pajaras III despite this, as the Harkas engineered a new lifeform that orbits the planet, constantly emitting bright UV rays to the planet below via Astromoeba symbiosis and bioluminescence. This incident caused a lot of extreme weather patterns tempoarily, but despite the conditions returning to mostly normal levels the life had to continue to adapt, mostly to the changed emission spectrum of the 'new star' compared to the old star. Furthermore, the UAC now must transport hydrogen gas to the new star for it to emit light and sustain itself. For redundancy, there is a 2nd new star creature but that has not been awoken. It can be awoken in several minutes in case something happens ot the current 2nd star.
As the planet has a population well into the billions, the population recieves the vast majority of its food from the Amoeba Sphere where it is far more efficient to grow food. It is also a fairly important planet, as the local population engineer a lot of varying organisms. They can vary from bioships to even very small microbial lifeforms designed to perform various chemical - or even nuclear - reactions. In fact, this planet was home to many experiments by the UAC and the rest of the Hyperion Federation to see what nuclear reactions they could achieve using organisms. This has caused several locations around the planet to be unsafe, such as one nuclear accident which has caused a small portaion of the world to have high radiation levels. In more current times this has almost entirely dissipated, making it safe to acess now. Even this oppurtunity was utilised to engineer new species of radiotropic species.
