Phi Tulan C II
A relatively small planet of the Phi Tulan Trinary System, orbiting the white dwarf Phi Tulan C. The system is owned by the SR.
Phi Tulan C II is used primarily as a suppor tplanet to the Sulethis Republic which extracts materials from Phi Tulan C to obtain electron QCD matter. This extrmely dense material is used in some applications such as science and for very powerful weapons. This gives the planet a relatively high value. They use these sorts of weapons to help defend the planet as well, wich would make it incredibly difficult to attack. Like every planet in the Phi Tulan C and B systems, the planet is very dark. This makes it necessary to bring a lot of lighting equipment to allow people to navigate the planet and ensure they understand their location. Regardless, the power grid on this planet is very large and the planet supports a large industry along with mining operations.
The population for this is held on Phi Tulan A III, where they are teleported here through very powerful Teleporters. The SR constructs monuments for those that are lost and are later found dead, or just are never found again. They also have a museum near the equator that has the names of everyone that was lost like this inscribed on it. Due to the extreme darkness, bioships would not be able to see in the system along with any other form of sensor that relies on visual sight. However, they would be able to see any faint light sources still (such as engine drives of other ships). This is significant because one time the Unified Arkan Council attempted to send Harkas diplomats to the SR through this system, but their bioships could not see in the dark. The Hyperion Federation supported them using radar-equipped starships and guded them out of the system. This incident almost led to death.
The planet also orbits at a relatively high velocity. It is one of the closest worlds to the white dwarf, as Phi Tulan C I was annihilated when the star went supernova. Currently, there is little more left of that planet than a bright red wreckage.
