Sabaria - Panagia War

A large war between the inhabitants of Sabaria and Panagia long before the Unified Arkan Council UAC first contact with the Hyperion Federation.   After taking note that the cultures of Panagia have achieved spaceflight for the first time, the Sabarians have realised they have largely underestimated them. They also appeared to have something that the sabarians didn't, which they later found out to be the Taidakic Field, a discovery that would become very useful for not only the panagians and sabarians, but the entire Harkas species - and later - the Hyperion Federation.   The panagians preferred to keep their secret though, leading to a decleration of war from the sabarians. Despite the various Zar inhabitants being some of the most advanced in the star system at the time, the panagians actually held the 'technological' advantage due to their excellent use of the Taidakic Field. The Sabarians initially deployed large payloads - a biological form of nuclear weapon - onto many panagian cities, killing millions. This would not break them though - and soon after they would respond. They engineered a lifeform that could be used as a casaba lance - a special type of weapon where a nuclear weapon is detonated within the breech and the resulting radiation directed towards the target - to hit enemy bioships in orbit. This was devastating, but didn't end the war. They sent a large invasion force down to the surface of Panagia - although the Midworldians themselves would never be able to do that as their bodies would be crushed under gravity, they engineered a new lifeform. They would use their hivemind ability to control them remotely from high orbit. Using this strategy, they managed to conquer a portion of Panagia, but were ultimately inexperienced in planetary combat, but the panagians by this point had thousands of years of experience. They repelled the sabarian invasers and were ultimately victorious. They defended their planet sucessfully.
