Edna Taylor is a favorite mistress of the Grand Baron of Wessridge Maklin am Maxalli. She lives in a very large and well-appointed suite of apartments within the palace at Barony Court and lives entirely on money coming directly from the Baron.
Edna was a seamstress employed by Maklin's wife, Goditha Mollus, when she met the Braon in the summer of 215 AF. The Baron's initial advances were rejected, but he persisted and then produced a significant amount of gold to win her "affection". The result was an illegitimate son 9 months later named Edman Taylor. She rarely sees the Baron now, but still takes his gold and lives in his palace.
Edna has given birth to three children from the Baron, ranging in age from 18 to 12 years. It has been estimated that the cost of her household at Barony Court exceeds 60,000 guilders a year.
