Grand Barony of Wessridge
The Grand Barony of Grand Barony of Wessridge is a political division of the High Kingdom of Imesse . It is a wealthy barony with a population of more than 60,000 people, and its baronic seat is the City of Wessridge with a population of 14,000 people. The largest city in the barony is Terrick on the Manisar River with a population of 19,000 souls, meaning that more than half of the population of the entire barony live in these two cities. 85% of the population is Human.
The current Grand Baron is Maklin am Maxalli.
History
Founded as a Grand Barony in 150 AF when Maklin's great-grandfather Maklar defeated the orc warlord of the invading horde in single combat and his brother, King Lothar titled him Grand Baron. Wessridge was a Barony in 146 AF orc invasion of Imesse and the baron at the time was killed along with 40% of the city's population.
