Personal history

Gerard was the youngest son of the Baron Allisen am Frigani, the grandfather of the current Baron of Wennick, Graysen am Frigani.  He was particuarly close to his older brother Gaylen, both before and after he became the Baron of Wennick.  As the youngest son, he was not ever likely to inherit land, money or title and spent his youth as an aide to his brother.  He always had a good head for sums, figures and ledgers and put his talents to use in his brother's court.   He has become a master administrator and organizer over the years since.  When his brother died and his nephew, Graysen became Baron, he spent several years helping him become comfortable with the accounts and books associated with his new office.  When Graysen proved himself an able and attentive master of coin and books, Gerard was left with little to occupy his time.  His nephew saw this and asked his brother-in-law, King Mak II, to try and find him a position in his court.  Mak named Gerard Lord Steward of the Realm and has had no reason to regret that appointment since.
