Tovar am Nari
His Grace, Duke Tovar am Nari
Tovar am Nari was the last Baron of Hekmo and the first Duke of Hekmo. His title was elevated to Duke when he mustered an army from the far north of the Kingdom of Imesse and marched it to help stem the invasion of Orcs during the The Second Great Orc War.
In 146 AF, a horde of Orcs stormed into Imesse from the western steppe that numbered in excess of 20,000. That summer, the horde advanced almost unhindered as far east as Wessridge. During the summer of 147, Tovar raised an army of more than 12,000 men and horse that he then marched west and south to fight the invasion. By October, he had gotten his army to Wesston and after liberating the city, began to march on Stonehold. By January of 148, Tovar had joined his forces to that of King Lothar am Maxalli and his brother, Maklar am Maxalli.
