Treant
Treants are giant tree-like humanoid creatures of great age and incredible strength. They inhabit large ancient tracts of forest and wilderness, far from civilization where they can tend their forest homes and protect their groves, woods and trees.
They are not inherently violent creatures, but when they feel they or their habitats are threatened they can bring devestation down like a force of nature. As strong as the greatest Giants, Treants can crush stones with their hands or feet. Their skin is as tough as the hardest wood, their flesh is as resilient as the strongest trees, and while they can't move terribly fast, they can move and they are nearly unstoppable once in motion.
