Giants
Giants are a family of humanoid-shaped creatures of various descriptions and attributes that seem to have a common ancestor/progenitor of unknown type. All members of this Gigantes family have two arms ending in hands, two legs ending in feet, and are bipedal.
Academics at both the The Order of the Quinary and the Order of the Votaries of Knowledge have established the following types of giants as well known, but the list is not considered complete or exhaustive:
The most intelligent and advanced Giants are called Noble Giants:
Frost Giants: The most intelligent and evolved of the giant-kind.
Storm Giants: Intelligent, cunning and highly social.
Stone Giants: Intelligent, but less social than their Frost or Storm cousins.
Giants lacking in intelligence and advanced social abilities are called Common Giants:
Mountain Giants: A rare, oversized and dull variation of Hill Giant that is found exclusively in Colo.
Hill Giants: Large, stupid creatures
Trolls: Large blood-thirsty beasts with a long association with the enemies of Humans.
Ogres: The smallest of the giant-kind (but still huge) and universally understood to be a real danger to any intelligent creature.
