Eleanor Thonwyr
Eleanor Thonwyr (nee Kassryx) was the daughter of Henran Kassryx, the current Duke of Sudrast. She was the Queen of Summerlund, wife of Hadyn Thonwyr, and mother of Harbryn, Ullyn, and Shairi Thonwyr. Although she had bright red hair, she darkened it with pigments, not wanting to call attention to the streak of Elven blood in her veins.
During her life, Eleanor was renowned for holding her “Courts of Love”. These courts gathered knights, bards, ladies, and learned folk together to discuss matters of romance and the heart. These “Courts” were responsible for the genesis of some of the most celebrated poetry, music, and philosophy of the age.
Queen Eleanor lost her life in a terrible attack on her own home. As she attended a meeting with her husband and Sir Galenus Grimwave, a party consisting of Kaldakos Greysails, Elswara Wellheart, the death knight Shadarak Mithranak, and the Weaver Lich Serresque appeared through teleportation magic. Shadarak cast a ball of hellish magic, killing many guards and Eleanor, and her body was disintegrated by her own son, Ullyn, who appeared to be part of this conspiracy. It remains to be seen who will next take the crown of Summerlund.
