Hadyn Thonwyr

Hadyn Thonwyr was the king of Summerlund from 1048 to 1081 SKR. He was a reasonably well-liked king with a slightly military bent. He married twice, first to Edele Padwyn. When this union produced no offspring, he put her aside, for which Duchess Edele never forgave him. With his second wife, Eleanor Kassryx, he had two sons, Harbryn and Ullyn, and a daughter, his youngest child Shairi. His best friend, Sir Galenus Grimwave, was his champion and head of his knights.

King Hadyn lost his life in a terrible attack on his castle. As he received information on the new Zhakastir of Gristamere from Sir Galenus, a party consisting of Kaldakos Greysails, Elswara Wellheart, the death knight Shadarak Mithranak, and the Lich Weaver Serresque appeared through teleportation magic. Shadarak cast a ball of hellish magic, killing many guards and Queen Eleanor. Elswara and Kaldakos slew the king in battle, while Sir Galenus was feebleminded by the Old One. Hadyn was disintegrated by his own son, Ullyn, who appeared to be part of this conspiracy. It remains to be seen who will next take the crown of Summerlund.
