Skabatha Nightshade

Skabatha Nightshade is one of the three Hags that make up the Hourglass Coven, and ruler of the realm of Thither. She is the adopted daughter of Mana Lima and the adopted sister of Zybilna. Her other sisters, Bavlorna Blightstraw and Endelyn Moongrave, are both closer in temperament to her. Together, the Hourglass Coven imprisoned Zybilna in time, and they divided her domain of Prismeer amongst themselves.
Skabatha is a toymaker who lives in a dollhouse in a hollow tree in a Fey wood. She is missing one eye, which she has replaced with a wooden one. She appears as a wizened old woman in granny clothes with a large wind-up key protruding from her back. As her anger grows higher, her key slowly winds down until it stops when she's in a fury. She was wont to ride on a flying rocking horse she named Sugarlump but who turned out to be the Unicorn Elidon.
She is under a curse that makes her forget the first person she sees when she wakes up in the morning. Like the rest of the Hourglass Coven, she is paranoid and suspects her sisters are plotting against her. She was forced to retreat when the Witchlight Court visited Thither, but her whereabouts are unknown. Elidon was freed and has returned to his mate, Lamorna.
