Valatarion Seachanged

Valatarion Seachanged was born with the family name of Leafdapple. He was an Elf Ranger of Faerinwold who had been captured by Orc raiders during the War of the Three Heads. The orcs tortured him, including putting out his eyes. His life changed again when he and his sister Hanalariel were captured by the Weaver Lich Serresque. The Lich was attempting to recreate and improve upon the experiments of the Weaver Scientist Simic, and Valatarion emerged from these experiments as one of the first Simic Hybrids.

Valatarion now possesses gills and a carapace, as well as large, crab-like claws. His hand has been regrown, which has caused him to think of his change as a blessing, something he shares in common with Kiera Hillborne. Together with the Weaver Selentai, they are exploring more of what might be achieved on behalf of wounded and injured soldiers with Simic's researches.
