Human Pantheon

The Human Pantheon consists of the most important religious deity among humans in Toriel. The religion combines the Various god mainly worshiped by humans, or human-like gods. Each god tend to possess its own whorshiper, and its own cult and religion. Most major human cities have various churches or temples dedicated to those gods. There are also wayshrines along the roads of Tana's Empire that are devoted to the human pantheons. God may vary widely, some are inherently divine, and their origin are mysterious, other are mortal who managed to rise to godhood, like Achille a human hero.

Popular opinion and worship

The human pantheon, just like any pantheon, keeps on evolving, the gods' conflicts and the mortals' achievement changing the list of divine more often than the gods are willing to admit. Certain god grew stronger as their influence started to spread when other almost disappeared. Waukeen is a great example of this, as after the great extinction in 1070, she had to bargain to keep her power, and now, she is one of the strongest gods among the human pantheon.
With the very real presence and influence of god on Toriel, many tend to worship them, hoping for a blessing, a grace, or at least for their protection. With the growing human population, the human pantheon gods' power is spreading and growing stronger. It is rare to find a humble once without a holy symbol of some kind displayed somewhere. People swear and curse constantly using the gods' name, and call upon their power in time of need.
Another, very real proof of their presence, is the power they bestow upon their clerics, paladins, and champions, physical manifestation of the god might through a mortal body. Similarly, many myths, about sight of godly avatars walking among the mortal were documented, and various gods were mortals who ascended to godhood.
Despite the gods' ability to physically manifest, most of them, especially pantheon like the human pantheon prefer to communicate through dreams and visions. Their interaction with the world is often relegated to blessings from the short lived human perspective.

Festival and Celebrations

Many gods are worshiped during the various celebrations and holidays, but a few of those traditional celebrations are specifically made in honor of one god or another.
