Lashana Aurelia Caphaxath is the Pontifica (head priestess) of the Temple of Diana the Huntress in Turris, a port city in the Myrkyr Isles. Because this temple is the primary religious edifice in Turris, Pontifica Caphaxath is the highest-ranking member of the priestly colleges in the city. She has run the temple for nearly a century, and has earned great respect among the ruling class of Turris.
However, in mid-Aprilis of 2103, some person, or group, got into the Temple's back chambers, and made off with the votive offerings to Diana. These votive offerings are still missing, and because this happened on Lashana's watch, she blames herself for it. Whether this incident will ultimately affect her standing among the city elders, or the college of priests, remains to be seen.
