Sauropolis, the second city to join The Voladrian League after its founding at Vol, has become one of the fourth richest Free Cities in the league. Located in the fertile volcanic western region of Obsidia, Sauropolis boasts a unique farm-to-table system that utilizes large herbivorous dinosaurs for plowing, cultivation, and transportation of food throughout the league. The other member cities rely on Sauropolis for their land shipping needs, as Sauropolian transport caravans are the only ones capable of handling oversized cargo between its port and other cities, especially loads that airships and dragons cannot carry.
Dinosaur mounts are some of the most difficult animals to raise and train, however the pet-first culture of Sauropolis supports the local domestication of the array of species.
