Conclave

Also known as the Conclaves of Lagrigoyi or The Taoul Reza Noach conclaves, These meetings of the minds are specifically designed for a worldwide issue that is proving too dangerous for any one group. Though several have been called, the title was only used from the third onwards, getting the name from the first one and retroactively attached to the second.

The Conclave of Lagrigoyi

The first conclave was more a meeting of schoolers than actual groups, with eight of the ten present all being Phervian. It is referred to in contemporary sources as The conclave of minds.

Crisis

After a mining mission on the north coast of Frostmourn vanished, a corrupt winged monster with some sort of amethyst embedded in its chest appeared in the gem sea. It started by just attacking ships but after several failed attempts to kill the beast, it launched an attack on a port town and wiped it out. With attacks increasing and the latest being near the silent lake, an emergency was called. All the remaining Phervian Lords and the sea Elves started marshaling armies, deciding they needed an actual weapon, Lagrigoyi called a meeting of the brightest schoolers to figure out what would hurt it.

result and legacy

Deciding on a last-ditch, never going to work plan, Lagrigoyi and a Gnome created a spore thrower, infecting the beast with thousands of Phervian control ticks, This reportedly dealt with the issue, but the histories don't if it worked as planned or what happened to the beast. The conclave set the precedent for cooperation rather than mutual destruction, the fear was also put into the world at the fact that this 'weapon' and beast might still exist.

Conferance of peace and liberty

The second conclave, though it would be another age before it would be called that, was held in 74 Dragon.

Crisis

The Slave revolts had been happening for just over seventy years, with Phervian losing everything, a group fled to the gem sea and found a quiet place to continue living. Being intercepted by Orcs and saved by shifters, a complex situation had arisen on whether peace should be extended. What made the situation clear that enough was enough, was the fact that Greatwyrms were still fighting each other across the world. This lead Saberfang to gather leaders from around the world, including the Phervian, to talk about peace.

Result and Legacy

While many treaties were put forward, it was a treaty that a Gith and Eva penned together that was signed. This gave Phervian the north of the Ilse of the lost, not to be bothered by others and not to bother the world as a whole. Dura I opposed this stating they needed wiping out, and Veil argued the Greatwyrms shouldn't get off without punishment. In an ironic twist, it was Saberfang, acting on advice once given by Wralin, that enforced peace, by threatening to turn his army on them. A threat, it was discovered was empty.

The Third Conclave

Also known as the Devine conference, it was made up entirely of those with experience with Undead and was held in 496 Devine by Prophet Rulfim.

Crisis

With the Mire of lost souls continuing to grow, concerns started to grow about both itself and the undead that live there overtaking the world. This concern was increased when the undead attacked villages still miles away from the mire. The Fylkir of the region increased his military presence on the border, only for the Mire to overtake his position and himself to go missing. With all previous efforts failing to even slow it, Rulfim gathered together as many undead experts as he could.

Result and Legacy

Rulfim's shield was designed and built by a group of dwarves., and though it failed at stopping the growth of the mire, it did slow it down and even stopped the undead from passing.

The Fourth Conclave

The Failed secret conclave, also known as the red conclave was held in early 130 Blood.

Crisis

With the tyranny of the Demon Prophet increasing, citizens around the world grew more concerned, with the death toll rising and a criminal promoted to Fylkir for murdering a group of Shifters was the final straw for several Dragons. Gathering together several other rebel leaders and even a Fylkir and a few clerics a meeting was discussed on how to proceed as neither Iti nor Raelgil Sepa wanted to launch an all-out attack. This secret meeting was betrayed however as an army of Justicars marched in. With three Greatwyrms present, it turned into a bloodbath with only a handful on each side escaping.

Aftermath

The entire reason for the Conclaves almost immediately evaporated as accusations and hate speech flew. Within months the Shifter tribes had united under a being called Drakor, the Demon Prophet declared a crusade against Iti and her heretical followers, and half the empire was in open revolt. Instead of the plan to limit death, the conclave made the death toll increase exponentially.

The Fifth Conclave

Also known as the last conclave, this was called by an Phervian Eldar in 122 Fey.

Crisis

The Crisis of the Fey age Portents of doom had been plaguing those with psionic abilities, a thought long-dead horde emerged from hiding, and wars against the undead plagued the borderlands and Frostmourn. Combine this with tears to the Fey and Nether being 'reopened' and a new one to the Fire Conflux opening, the latter thanks to adventures trying to stop the planes merging. During the meeting, Grunkle's Angels. made of appearance from Aten, revealing the corruption of Raviwrar and the disappearance of his essence from the dragon gems. It was decided that the world needed to band together to avert disaster and assist Grunkle's Angels.

Result

The greatwyrms mobilized for the first time since the Slave revolts, meeting up at Voidcape in preparation to fight Raviwrar. The White City crewed their new flagship before gifting it to Grunkle's angels to assist with travel with Miodulth joining the crew after the battle as a base of knowledge.
