Karak-Ymbaroul Khabalin yhl Mudhab
The Duryadi Royal Palace (Ghazhak: Karak-Ymbaroul Khabalin yhl Mudhab, lit. 'karak-ymbaroul [imperial fortress] of the golden mountain. Often translated as Castle Gildemount) is the home of the Royal Clan Yhl-Duryadh, the Great Clan of Djerad Sikta and Royal Family of Duryad and serves as the seat of the Duryad government. Located at the centre of Djerad Sikta city, it is one of the most recognizable structures in Duryad and is heavily guarded day and night in order to protect its high-class residents
Defenses
Patrols of five guards roamed the palace and gardens, while two guards stood watch in the throne room to watch over the suzerain. Each patrol carried whistles, allowing them to alert each other in case of trouble
History
The building has been subject to modifications, as it had been partially rebuilt on at least one occasion due to damage sustained from an attack.
The original throne room of Dahrmuyahd I "the Magnificent" el Zinad was noticeably smaller than the current one. It was brighter and had more red and gold colours and also lacked the prominent stairs that currently elevates the throne over the rest of the room. However, Húndark Thorne destroyed the original throne room during the sucsesful assasination ateptmt on Davos, one of the blackbloods sat the room on fire which resulted in its destruction. The current throne room was built afterward.
