Enesis

God of Healing

One of the younger gods, born from the union of Hunia - the lesser deity of the Hunt - and Mano - the greater deity of Knowledge and Secrets - Enesis was brought into existence to bring order and focus to healing arts and divine healing, and to combat the diseases unleashed upon Valine by Qyrad after Coven's Rage decimated the population of the planet.   Enesis partners with other gods to bring hope and wellbeing to the populations of Valine. With Jopha, he worked to spread various healing herbs and plants across the planet. He lobbies his mother, Mano, to allow him to release secrets of medicine to key individuals to push the development of curative technologies. With Tehsus he weaves healing magics into existence and with Astus and even Khydar he labors to heal the souls of the unworthy and perhaps halt the corruption of the undead .   Though constantly pitted against each other in an ongoing game of cat and mouse, Enesis and Qyrad will work together both to spread disease and to manage the spread of disease on occasion. For after all, what is a god of healing without the need to heal and what would a god of disease be without a robust population to infect?   Enesis greatest goal is to heal his own complex relationship with Qyrad and create balance, bringing to an end the deadly pandemics without eradicating disease entirely.   Often appearing as a youthful male tiefling, Enesis chooses this form deliberately to work against bigotry and ignorance which he regards as being as damaging to the minds and hearts of the people of Valine as any physical disease.
