Grakon Olikan

Baron Grakon Olikan's life began in a city gripped by fear, remorse, and anger. Instead of succumbing to those evils, Grakon took the time to process the events and mental defense mechanisms that brought them about. His meditative approach to the trauma the Cairn had endured was something of a breath of fresh air to the community - even so, none of the Caiir Elders took him seriously until he passed the Ritual of Flame. To that end, Grakon was the youngest Cairn to ever complete it when it did so at 12 years old. Years later, when he turned 22, he made it a point to begin completing the ritual once a year and, to his credit, has done exactly that.
In his twenties and thirties, Grakon offered ritualistic healing to those struggling with the loss of their home. He offered to convene with spirits of those lost, heal traumatic injuries otherwise too complex to deal with, and listening patiently to the frustration of those around him. When his work in Caiir was complete, he made the journey to Horero and then Tomokan completely by himself.
He credits his long, solo journey across the Rock Plains with his success in affecting change at Ghoulwood.
Upon arriving in Tomokan, Grakon quickly went to work with the shamans and druids there to learn of a way to pacify the spirits. Whether by sheer luck, intellectual genius, or divine intervention, Grakon's efforts directly lead to the first sapling sprouting at the edge of the forest since the forest had been burned. Grakon stayed in Tomokan for nearly a decade, offering his same services to not only the Cairn who had learned to call the village home, but also the Ilaen and Humans from Marka that were stationed there.
Grakon's journey back to Caiir was yet another solitary venture, and upon his arrival he was beckoned to assist the ailing leader of Karinga, Ilamia Nalaku. Whatever ailed her was far more powerful than Grakon's healing ability, though he did soothe her pain. In her dying hours, Ilamia selected Grakon to be her replacement in leading Karinga.
Grakon began leading Karinga and representing them to The Unified Council on 25 Kythorn, 861 2E.
