The mentor of Re'lar Deeplake. He took Re'lar in off the streets of Aspengarde and taught him in the ways of a Wizard.

Personal history
Remus Rivera was born in Aspengarde and taught himself magic in his youth. He was later approached to serve the Lunelle as an instructor. He agreed and spent a great deal of his life in service to the Lunelle.
He had a son when he was 41. The boy was taken from him to be trained under the Visitors. Remus later learned that his son had been killed on an unknown operation on behalf of the Visitors. He decided to leave the organization behind that day.
Later in his life, Remus found Re'lar Deeplake roaming the streets of Aspengarde. He took the boy in and trained him after the death of his parents.
Relationships
The party rescued Remus from Hellbend, only to find he had been cursed with the Mark of Divine Wrath. With an estimated 10-12 days to live, Remus joined the party long enough to establish them in Atlas. Despite the best efforts of his apprentice Re'lar Deeplake, Remus' time ran out.
Rather than experience the horrible death that comes with the Mark, Remus accepted an offer from Betz to die by his hand. Betz promised delivery to The Raven Queen. Betz fired a single shot and Remus was laid to rest beneath a tree in the Gravewood. Zin'fir grew vines around the body to protect it, and Re'lar placed his Visitor medallion on Remus' chest.
