Imara

Before Imara was born, there was her mother, the Fire Elf Acenda and her father, the Iron Human Caio. Caio was part of a research teams that came from Vreathe 200 years ago to explore The Moon Izi, but after a disaster struck in the expedition, he was taken prisoner by Ascenda. Caio was taken by Ascenda across Izi and brought before the Fire God Beirunes for judgement, but was released to go back to Vreathe.

Caio and Ascenda were in a kind of relationship before the two parted ways, but none of the Fire Elves thought that an elf could carry a human child. This was common knowledge on Vreathe and there are countless examples of half-elves, but on Izi, Imara is the only one due to how little contact there is between the two worlds.

Growing up, Imara had a very sheltered life. Ascenda treated Imara like a frail being unable to fend for herself. While Imara was unable to cast fire magic, she was perfectly capable of using every other element and could defend herself just fine. Still, she was the target of many attacks due to her ancestry. Imara is also one of the few half-elves of any world unlucky enough to be born with rounded human shaped ears, which just made things worse. She accepted years ago that her name for many was Nindastug, or "Round Ears".

Imara wanted to run away from this life, but she was a prisoner in the caverns. She didn't have the full Blessing of Beirunes, so couldn't survive outside the caverns on the surface of the moon for more than a few days. Whenever Ascenda traveled to the Obsidian Isles to perform her duties as a priestess of Beirunes, Imara would disappear from home for several weeks as well, knowing the elves would try targeting her again, but she didn't go outside.

Imara instead ventured into the Deep Wilds, the deepest caverns of Jirra, where no other fire Elves go. There, she ran into the Gissu or "Deep Elves". They didn't see Imara as some sort of aberration and they accepted her. But when imara traveled back to Jirra and the others found out where she went, she was chased out of the caverns and onto the surface of Izi.

Imara had an Anzu Beast with her, and she thought for awhile she might be able to make it to one of the other caverns and maybe those other elven kingdoms wouldn't hate her. But as the days passed, Imara started to feel sickened from being on the surface. Imara had thought of turning back when she spotted some people wearing brown suits with white armor, and they were fighting off Magma wolves.

Imara sent her Anzu charging at the wolves, trampling several of them. After the wolves retreated, Imara spoke to the people and realized that many of them had round ears like her!
