Fire(ball) Alley

During the soft open of the party's tavern, a massive fireball ripped through the alley, killing a dozen or more.
During your investigation you learned:

• The explosion came from the middle of the street.
• Tally Fellbranch told the party that something jumped down from a roof; it looked human, yet not; it threw something; it had a large, foppish red hat with a feather and was wearing a red robe.
• Martem Trec, a halfling child, found a necklace of fireballs with 2 beads left that had fallen into a nearby rain barrel.
• Cameron found a dead gnome with a burned cloak, a destroyed piece of paper, and clutching a dagger. Most likely Dalakhar, who works for Dagult Neverember and was coming to speak to Renaer Neverember.
• Renaer asks Dalakhar to meet him there because he didn't want to change his plans for the day. Dalakhar used to shadow Renaer at Dagult's request to keep an eye on his son. Dalakhar informed Renaer he was carrying something valuable for his father, was unable to deliver it, and needed Renaer's aid.
• Dalakhar was said to have been staying at the Dripping Dagger.

The party concludes a nimblewright was the one who threw the fireball bead. The party recalls seeing a similar creature during the parade on Liar's Night. They head to the Temple of Gond to investigate. There, they find a nimblewright named Nim, who does not fit the description. A member of the temple, Valetta, tells them that Nim was purchased from a "Zardoz Zord".
