Kingdom Tragnment

Kingdom Tragnment is one of the thirteen kingdoms that make up the Roscrean Empire. It stands as the second largest and second strongest militarily-wise, with several legions protecting its cities and villages. Its capital city is Neverduned which sits on the shore of the Lake of Steel. The kingdom was founded in 5455 2E and is a part of the Water Alliance. The Kingdom is known for its impressive military way of life and warrior culture, with hundreds of training camps and forts dotting the land of the kingdom, the most impressive being the Academy of Ambhearst, where the most prominent military leaders train and learn. The kingdom also boasts an impressive light house north of Neverduned named Pillar of Light, that rivals the majesty of Kingdom Watcher'splace light house aptly named Stand of Fire.

History

Kingdom Tragnment first began as a city-state in 5455 2E, in a city which's name has long been crossed from the halls of history. Around the year 5624 2E, the city would become abandoned for unknown reasons and its citizens would be forced out after every flame in the city was mysteriously extinguished all at once. The refugees would emigrate to the close city of Neverduned, and the emperor at the time forced the king of Kingdom Tragnment to relocate the capital to the city. The old capital was soon named the Nameless City and none are allowed to venture within its ruins. The Vardux-Roscrean war is credited to creation of the warrior spirit of the Tragnmentian population, since a large majority of its people fought in the war and stormed the Hills of Aubourn. After the Vardux-Roscrean war, many expeditions were sent into the deep Aubourn Hills in what is known as the Hillsburg Expeditions. Many secrets and experiments were found, and some even unleashed into the wilds of Roscrea. One notable monster was the Aberrition, a twelve foot monster made of several corpses of kidnapped human citizens. The Aberrition terroized the countryside for years before it was eventually brought down by the Monster Hunter Guild. A knightly order was created to the northeast of the Aubourn Hilsl to hunt down the remainder of the Vardux, which are known as the Gilded Knights. The Stormbarrow inccident occured in 6517 3E when scavangers looted through Stormbarrow Towerand accidentally unleashed the Storm, a terrible Vardux Experiment meant to ravage the Disservive Gulf during the war. The Storm was eventually stopped just barely before it reached the coastline, although it did damege the east wing of the capital city Neverduned. In present day, the kingdom is famous for hosting the lineage of the Cheins, with the current king in 8004 4E being Despar Chein. In the year of 8000 4E, Despar Chein ordered a major construction effort to expand the city of Neverduned in a very ambitious project, in which the city is still under construction to present day. The Gilded Knights of the north and numerous cities have been angered by their redirected funding from the king and tension now grows between the two groups.

Oracon - The largest of the two islands, Oracon is an island found only a few hours' sail from the mainland coast of the Disservive Gulf. It sports an impressive fort named Fortress Concuda on the island used for naval training of the kingdom and a processing plant for prisoners that will soon be sent off to the Island of the Ashamed.
Betri - The smaller of the two islands, Betri lies to the northeast of Oracon and is known for a small fishing village to feed the populace of Oracon, as well as the ruins of an ancient goblin temple that worshiped the two moons.
