Madgoth's Tiny Castle

We continued our exploration of the tiny castle, finding a portal in a bed room that we briefly took a jaunt through. The other side of the portal was somewhere we had not been before and felt more ... advanced mechanically, copper pipes in lots of places.
 
We found numerous rooms containing mundane items that were trophies of Madgoth's kills. A homunculous was in the study and asked us to deal with a dragon (a purple dragon that smiles apparently) and gave us a helm that protects one within the castle from all damage. The desk and chair in the study were made of the spellbooks of the fallen wizards. We got 12 spellbooks when taking it apart.
 
Later,We found a realistic mindflayer costume; Ussta tried to blow us all up when opening a door; we found a sleeping figure that was actually an illusion and were attacked by flying wands; a slaad disguised as an old man trapped in an octo-bass. Then we headed up another floor.
 
On the next floor we found some bats that were actually polymorphed demons. That fight was a challenge with some heavy damage being received by Ussta and Rhys. Then the fairy dragon started playing with our heads. Walls appeared where no walls were before, Flaem's raven got lost, we had to back track a bit only to find nothing present. We were then attacked by the homunculous and had to put it down, at least for the time being. Rhys then entertained Otto, the Faerie Dragon, with a song and befriended it.
