Beyond Madgoth's (The rest of Level 7)

We rested on the roof of the castle then took our leave. After some polymorphing, we flew down to the cavern floor. Once there, we saw the stone giant we spoke with before who attacked us while we were debating whether to talk to it. It effectively ended the debate, but Rhys stepped in and cooled things down.
 
The giant was being tricked by the faerie dragon and was quite upset about it, looking for someone to blame. He was also quite entertained by the shrinking effect of the castle and what it did to the rocks he threw at the castle. We left him in peace.
 
The next cavern over was the home of the stone giants, where the faerie dragon was wreaking havoc with the giantess and her children. We moved on, not wanting to raise the ire of all the giants or be blamed for the fey's hijinks. Further exploration revealed the whole level to be the domain of the stone giants. We decided to carry on down to the next level, not wanting to upset the balance of power.
 
And so we found ourselves in the Slitherswamp, where Ussta began talking with the grasses. We found a portal back to the dwarven temple shortly after entering the swamp, to which we already had the stone key it required. After that we found an old Yuan-Ti temple and a horde of Bullywugs. In the temple we were attacked by magically appearing Yuan-Ti, but we made short work of them.
