The Price
I already miss Dani and she left just minutes ago. She is just such a joy to be around and makes everything seem brighter and lighter. It really is a special gift that she has. I know she had to go and I'm glad we got to say goodbye properly this time and that I got to give her the thing we created together. It is honestly the one thing that I'm most proud of. I miss my friend.
It has been such a long day. We achieved so much. We got the hilt and we helped Dani. But Cal and Grerv paid for it. We win and we pay and I'm wondering when we'll have nothing left to give. What is going to happen when the prices get too high? If Cal will pay with her humanity and the rest of us with our lives?
I guess I'm not a very hopeful or positive person. Maybe that is because I think too much, I worry too much. Hope is more Elhom's speciality. And Dani's.
I will try to take Cal's advice and just do something I enjoy tomorrow. Today is work, tomorrow is fun. That Wildstar story sounds very intriguing.
