Night 5 - Not everyone is having dinner, but it's not super strange
After dinner we go to sleep very shortly after dinner, has long peaceful rest
 
6th day of the 2nd month
Awoken and asked to see Bradley Whitefeather, Bradley may have taken his own life and I have been asked to do the last rites
Bradley is bleeding out after shooting himself in the left side of the head with Dmitri crossbow

Acuaitions threw towards Dimitri because of his crossbow by the captain
 
Abigale drags Ava on deck because Abigale found Bradley's wedding ring in her bed. She will be executed on the 8th. UHOH

INVESTIGATION OF THE BODY
Found his chamber keys
Cannot place when the shot wound happened
A lot of the blood is dry, but not all started bleeding about 12 hours ago, shot happened after 10 pm in the middle of the night
Body not in a state of Rigg 0 Mortuus, 2-6 hours ago was killed, would last a day
Lots of very dry blood in his mouth and turning a dark color, almost definitely from poison and done almost 36 hours ago
we did not see Brad yesterday
 
INVESTIGATION OF THE ROOM
This was Bradley's Room
Key to the room we are in at the bottom of the doorframe, the door is high up and has room to slide the key under
Two slightly dirty goblets, one clearly dark stained: I am familiar with a type of poison that would cause the dark mark and cough up blood
 
Bradley's Diary:
-His wife and brother died in an accident that killed multiple crew members
-The accident was Winstons fault
-Reason that Winston became captain from the helmsman
-Rosa Phibtz Current helmsman is a close friend
-Abigale Gibbs may have overheard discontent for the captain discussion with Rosa
-Final few pages of the diary has been removed
 
DISCUSSION WITH PAUL WITTER
Relationship: Close to being friends, but not because boss
Last saw Bradley: On the night of the 4th, Bradley wanted alone time which was not out of character after the trauma
Checked on him this morning
Wilmin the gunner had the weapons, but the chest was not locked
Was friendly with Rosa, Coral Stormrider, Marcus Gibbs (SIBLING OF Abigale)
No one, in particular, did not like
The wife was lovely and worked on the ship as an able seaman, met at sea
 
SPEAKING WITH AVA
Did not have dinner, did not go to bed early like most others, hanging around the ship
Saw 7 people playing a card game, one or more of them started discussing a mutiny. Unclear who
Middle of the night Ava heard someone leave Bradly's room
went back to bed, when woke up none was up
Natasha and Roselee were awake quite early
seen nothing suspicious the past two days
Would like us to accuse someone anyways just in case, to try and save her as a last-ditch effort
 
SPEAKING WITH ROSA
Helmsman has a fake rose in her hair
The accident was 3months ago, Winston made a bad call which crashed the ship and some of the crew died
Winston was very torn up about his mother's death, very close with Abigale
The incident with Abigale, overheard them bad-mouthing the captain and she told him

Abigale has really small pockets so couldn't steal the ring, actually, she did and needs the money for her and her brother Marcus
last saw Bradley on the 4th in passing, did not really talk
Had to execute Daphne recently, old gunners mate to Wilman, for treason
MArtin found the ring in Ava's bed
Abigale went to be early
 
SPEAKING WITH MARCUS
Marcus was friends with Bradley
Natasha, Rosalee, Pipa, Martin, Wilmin, Miles, and Henry play cards together
mARTIN sAYS ABIGALE FOUND THE RING
last saw Bradley on the 4th, had a drink with Coral, and Bradley. And stayed after for a drink
He does not wash his hands enough
Martin asked him to grab something from Henry and put it into Bradly's drink using blackmail to get him to do it
Martin knew that Abigal got Winston to hire him despite his lack of experience
 
Speaking WITH HENRY
got around 50 sleeping potions from martin which he put in the food, the last potion went into Bradley's Drink via Marcus

Put everyone to sleep so they can play cards was the plan
Natasha and Rosalee came up with the plan
Bradley was sad so Martin sent Marcus to help him sleep...
Natasha and Rosalee were not fans of the captain but were friends with Bradley.
Martin is avoiding eye contact when talking about the ring
Pipa McKay is upset with her job, was steward to Winston's mother before
Pipa was still awake late into the night after cards

when myhtles was awake the night of the murder her and martin and wilmen stayed up later they were stealing the key to bradleys room on instruction from martin
